Preparing students for the day's lesson by "setting the stage" is SO important. Kevin Tiller (@physedreview), Jaryd Prince (@JPrincePhysed), and Bob Vogt (@GlengaryPE) have been so kind to share the "Digital Whiteboards" that they utilize daily to do just that. Rather than writing the daily plan on a whiteboard, Kevin, Jaryd and Bob use the projector to share their plans as students enter the class. One VERY nice aspect of this is that, although initially, it does take some time, you can save the daily files for future use and just make whatever edits are needed in the future.
You can access (and make copies of)
the Google Slides versions of them here: goo.gl/Hp48va
The folder includes the following: 2 versions of the basic template, a sample "completed" Daily Plan, and 3 additional versions one from each Kevin, Jaryd and Bob. The summer is a great time to consider what kinds of changes you'd like to make for next year. This could be an awesome addition to your program!
Additionally, here is a great video from Kevin explaining his use including the use of GIFs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPgQ0SVy5Ds
